Enterprise SEO platform seoClarity announced today that it has purchased RankSense technology and intellectual property (IP). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RankSense, touted as the best search engine optimization (Agile SEO) platform, was founded by Hamlet Batista, who passed away in January 2021.

Why seoClarity earned RankSense. The technology will be added to SeoClarity’s ClarityAutomate enterprise platform, according to Mitul Gandhi, co-founder and chief engineer at seoClarity. “It paves the way for our vision to provide the most complete SEO technology to test, implement, and automate challenging SEO projects at scale.”

What does it mean for SEOClarity users. The combination of RankSense and ClarityAutomate will help its users faster to make important repairs at scale, without the need for developer resources, such as:

  • Update SEO changes to the page.
  • Run search engine optimization tests.
  • Internal linking automation.
  • Apply page speed improvements.
  • Publish the chart.

What does that mean for RankSense. “Hamlet had a passion for the search industry and solving search engine optimization challenges,” according to a statement provided by Odette Martinez, Hamlet’s wife. “His contributions have been significant and generous, and this move by seoClarity ensures that his vision and legacy will continue to move forward.”

Why do we care. Batista’s death hit the SEO community hard. He has contributed a lot to the search industry and has been a huge advocate of SEO automation and the expansion of SEO through technology. It is great to see the continuation of his work and legacy.

The year of the acquisition passes. It seems like just yesterday (wait, it was!) I was writing about how this year has been a big change in the SEO tools space. As we approach the halfway point of 2022, here’s a summary of all the big acquisitions we’ve seen so far:
